Frequently asked questions
How do I cancel my subscription?
- iPhone or iPad: Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → Aria → Cancel Subscription
- Mac: App Store → your name → Account Settings → Subscriptions → Manage → Aria → Cancel Subscription
- During a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged. From app version 1.1.2, if you allow notifications, the app sends a reminder 2 days before the trial ends (unless auto-renewal is turned off). Even if you do not get the reminder, you will be charged unless you cancel during the trial.
- Deleting your account in the app does not cancel your subscription.
How do I get a refund?
Apple processes App Store payments, so refunds are requested from Apple. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple Account, choose the purchase and submit a request. See Section 11 of our Terms of Service.
How do I use the same data and subscription on another device?
On each device, open Aria and go to Settings → Account → Sign in with Apple using the same Apple Account. If your subscription does not appear, tap “Restore purchases” on the subscription screen.
Can I switch AI off?
There is no setting that stops AI features on their own while you keep using the rest of the app. Aria is an assistant built on generative AI, so AI processing is at the core of the Service. You can, however, withdraw your AI consent at any time.
- First consent: before anything is sent to an AI provider, the app explains what is sent where and asks for your consent (new users during initial setup; existing users who have not yet consented, on a consent screen the next time they open the app). Nothing is sent before you consent, and without consent you cannot use Aria.
- Withdrawing consent (app version 1.1 or later): go to Settings → AI → “Withdraw AI Consent” and confirm. Your records, such as tasks, notes and chats, are kept, and you’ll see the consent screen until you agree again.
- Withdrawing consent (earlier versions): email our privacy officer (contact@lipson.kr). You can check your app version in Settings → Info → “Version”. After withdrawing, you cannot use Aria until you consent again.
- Deleting your account and data as well (any version): Settings → Account → “Delete account” or “Delete all my data”. This also ends transfers to AI providers.
- People under 14 may not use Aria.
See the Generative AI Notice and Section 1.2 of our Privacy Policy.
How do I turn off ad measurement?
To measure our ads, the iPhone and iPad app (version 1.1 or later) tells Meta when the app is installed or opened and when a free trial or subscription starts. It never sends your name, email, account, advertising identifier (IDFA), or your tasks and chats. Turn off Settings → Privacy → “Ad Measurement” and that device sends nothing more; every feature keeps working. The setting applies to each device separately. The Mac app does not have this feature. See Sections 1.7 and 3 of our Privacy Policy.
How do I see or delete what the AI remembers?
Settings → AI → “Memory”.
How do I report an inappropriate AI reply?
In the chat, touch and hold the reply (on Mac, right-click) and choose “Report Inappropriate Response” — an email opens, pre-filled with the reply time and text. Or email contact@lipson.kr with the date, time and content of the reply (a screenshot if possible).
How do I delete my account and data?
- Signed in with Apple: Settings → Account → “Delete account”
- Using a guest account: Settings → Account → “Delete all my data”
Your account and all server data are deleted immediately and cannot be recovered. If you use a guest account, delete your data before deleting the app; once the app is gone we have no way to find that guest account.
How do I request access to, correction of, or a stop to processing of my data?
Email our privacy officer (KIM HYUNGI, contact@lipson.kr). We reply within 10 days. See Section 10 of our Privacy Policy.
Data sources
- Weather: app version 1.1 or later uses weather data from Apple Weather (WeatherKit). See other data sources. In the app, weather panels show the Apple Weather mark, and tapping the ⓘ button on the weather in Today’s Briefing shows this attribution and link (in app version 1.0, that button shows the weather source for that version).
